Snell & Wilmer Partner Joshua Schneiderman Honored as Dealmaker of the Year Nominee by the Los Angeles Business Journal
LOS ANGELES – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Joshua Schneiderman, managing partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office, was named a nominee in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s inaugural M&A Awards in the category of Dealmaker of the Year. According to the publication, this award highlights attorneys, lenders, investment bankers, private equity leaders, and due diligence professionals for their overall impact on successful M&A activity.
Schneiderman, a member of the firm’s corporate and securities group, advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. He also counsels companies on corporate governance and franchising matters and frequently works with clients in the cannabis industry navigating the interplay of federal, state, and local regulations. With nearly two decades of transactional experience, Schneiderman is recognized for guiding clients through complex regulatory structures, multi-party negotiations, and mission-driven transactions. He has been instrumental in recent deals across industries including private equity, behavioral healthcare, and construction services.
In addition to his client work, Schneiderman previously served as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Business and Corporations Law Section and co-founded the Snell & Wilmer Virtual Networking Professional Community to foster dialogue and deal flow in the middle-market M&A space.
Schneiderman earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and his B.S. from Cornell University.
