Snell & Wilmer Partner John Lomax Selected for Outstanding Achievement Award by Arizona State Bar Employment & Labor Law Section
PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Partner John Lomax was recently awarded with the State Bar of Arizona Employment & Labor Law Section’s Rogers/Hayden Outstanding Achievement Award.
This annual award recognizes an attorney’s outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of labor and employment law in Arizona. The award is named, in part, after Snell & Wilmer attorney William R. Hayden.
The mission of the Employment & Labor Law Section is to enhance the quality of practice in labor and employment law to substantively and ethically provide representation to clients while providing a personally and professionally satisfying experience for practitioners in this area of law. Its focus covers the complex fields of employment law, workplace discrimination, employee relations, and traditional labor law. The Section provides regular monthly educational programs, an annual seminar and outreach programs.

Lomax is a highly regarded labor and employment attorney known for providing strategic, business-focused counsel tailored to each client’s industry, regulatory environment, and operational goals. His practice encompasses traditional labor matters, class and collective actions, internal investigations, and complex employment litigation, with extensive experience handling trials, arbitrations, and appeals in state, federal, and tribal courts. Lomax is particularly recognized for his work advising companies doing business with federally recognized Indian tribes, including employers operating on the Navajo Nation, where he counsels clients on compliance with tribal and federal employment laws, regulatory obligations, and community relations strategies.
