Throughout his career, Thompson has defended financial institutions and businesses in more than 250 putative class actions and has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous federal district courts nationwide. His practice centers on class action defense, complex commercial litigation, and regulatory investigations involving consumer finance, banking operations, and alleged financial fraud, delivering measurable impact for institutions navigating heightened regulatory scrutiny.

Thompson’s leadership extends beyond his practice. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, is a Foundation Trustee of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation and is a member of the Harlem Lacrosse Los Angeles Advisory Board.
