Snell & Wilmer Partner Andrew B. Still Elected to the Public Law Center’s Board of Directors
ORANGE COUNTY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Orange County Partner Andrew B. Still has been elected to the Public Law Center’s Board of Directors.
Founded in 1981, the Public Law Center (PLC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing free legal services to low-income residents and other nonprofits in Orange County. The PLC is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of a diverse array of leaders from Orange County’s top law firms, businesses and representatives of community organizations.
The PLC serves a wide range of low-income residents of Orange County, California, including immigrants, veterans, seniors, children, and micro- or small business owners. The issues range from domestic violence, human trafficking, guardianship, housing, health, bankruptcy, asylum, family law, consumer fraud, immigration, discrimination, and advocacy. Services range from training seminars to individual legal advice to full representation. Additionally, the PLC provides extensive legal support to Orange County nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations so they can better meet their legal obligations, protect themselves from unnecessary litigation, and focus on delivering critical services to Orange County residents.
Still focuses his practice in bankruptcy and commercial litigation. As part of the firm’s bankruptcy, insolvency & business reorganization group, he concentrates his practice on business bankruptcy matters and related issues. Still has a multi-faceted practice representing chapter 11 debtors-in-possession, as well as secured and unsecured creditors in all types of bankruptcy proceedings. He also has significant experience representing defendants in bankruptcy avoidance actions and fraudulent transfer actions. In addition to his bankruptcy work, Still also focuses his practice in all facets of insolvency law, including creditors’ rights and remedies, receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors, foreclosure and out of court workouts. He represents clients in a broad range of industries, including banking, finance and investment, real estate, healthcare, retail, and technology.
