Snell & Wilmer Counsel Katherine Annuschat McCaig Named Nominee for Orange County Business Journal’s 31st Annual Women in Business Awards
ORANGE COUNTY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to share that Katherine Annuschat McCaig, counsel in the firm’s Orange County office, was named a nominee for the Orange County Business Journal’s 31st Annual Women in Business Awards. According to the publication, this award is designed to recognize outstanding professional women who have made significant contributions to their organizations, their professions, and the Orange County community as determined by the judging panel.
McCaig, a corporate and securities attorney, advises companies at every stage of growth on complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, securities offerings, joint ventures, and corporate governance. She has guided clients through high-stakes transactions, including the sale of an Orange County-based tubing systems manufacturer to a strategic buyer, the cross-border acquisition of a communications technology company with operations in Latin America and Spain, the sale of a U.S. and U.K.-based digital content platform to Getty Images, and the sale of a healthcare software company to a Fortune 500 entity. She also advises venture-backed companies and cannabis businesses on financing and strategic growth.
Beyond her client work, McCaig is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Cancer Support Community South Bay and providing pro bono legal services for immigrants and nonprofit organizations. She frequently shares her expertise through presentations and publications on mergers and acquisitions, cannabis law, and ethics for in-house counsel.
McCaig earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and her B.A. and B.S. from the University of Kansas.
