Snell & Wilmer Attorneys Dana Ontiveros and Alexis Sadakane Named Finalists for the L.A. Times’ Inspirational Women Forum and Leadership Awards
LOS ANGELES – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to share that Dana Ontiveros and Alexis R. Sadakane were named finalists for the Inspirational Women Forum and Leadership Awards, presented by Los Angeles Times Studios. In its fifth year, the program recognized and celebrated female business leaders across Southern California who have achieved notable success and made meaningful contributions to their organizations and industries.
Ontiveros is a corporate and securities attorney at Snell & Wilmer who advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, securities matters, entity formation, and corporate governance. Over the past four years, she has played key roles in significant transactions, including a $600 million sale of a software company, a $35 million sale of an experiential marketing agency, and a state-mandated consolidation of health care facilities. Ontiveros received the firm’s Community Involvement Award in both 2024 and 2025 and serves on the Board of Directors of the PUENTE Learning Center and Grand Performances. She is also a frequent speaker on topics including M&A trends, Artificial Intelligence, ESG considerations, and corporate governance.
Sadakane is a labor and employment associate in Snell & Wilmer’s Orange County office, where she advises employers on California wage and hour compliance, human resources policies, and personnel management. She defends employers in matters involving FEHA claims, wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, and ADA and Unruh Act accessibility litigation, as well as administrative and regulatory proceedings, including OSHA and Cal OSHA investigations. She has earned consecutive recognition from Southern California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2023-2025 and was named to The Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch for 2025 and 2026. Sadakane is also active in mentorship and diversity focused initiatives recently receiving the firm’s Coach of the Year Award for 2025. Outside the courtroom, she provides pro bono services to employers serving underrepresented communities and participates in several professional organizations.
