Snell & Wilmer Attorney Dana Ontiveros Elected Chair of the PUENTE Learning Center Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorney Dana Ontiveros has been elected Chair of the PUENTE Learning Center’s Board of Directors. Founded in 1985 in Boyle Heights, PUENTE Learning Center has served as a catalyst for educational opportunity and community advancement for 40 years. Through programs ranging from elementary education and college and career readiness to English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and wraparound services—including health screenings and financial literacy workshops—PUENTE provides individuals and families with the tools and support they need to thrive. To date, PUENTE has expanded access to education and opportunity for more than 120,000 students and community members.

Ontiveros has served on the PUENTE Learning Center Board of Directors since December 2024, contributing her time and leadership to advance the organization’s mission of promoting educational equity for students and families in underserved Los Angeles communities. She serves as a liaison between Snell & Wilmer and PUENTE, coordinating the firm’s annual Toy and Gift Drive for PUENTE’s preschool students and participating in holiday celebrations that foster meaningful connections with students and families.

Ontiveros’ practice is focused on advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, securities matters, entity formation, and corporate governance. She is also a frequent speaker on topics including M&A trends, artificial intelligence, ESG considerations, and corporate governance.
