Snell & Wilmer Attorney Aline Longstaff Selected as ABA Business Law Section Fellow

SALT LAKE CITY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Aline Longstaff has been selected as a Fellow in the American Bar Association (ABA) Business Law Section’s 2026–2028 Fellows Program.

The ABA Business Law Section Fellows Program supports the development of future Section leaders by providing young lawyers with opportunities for meaningful involvement in Section activities. During the two-year program, Fellows gain leadership experience, receive mentorship from Section leaders and program alumni, and participate in Business Law Section meetings and committees.

Longstaff brings a powerful combination of appellate and trial-level experience, strategic insight, and a strong commitment to client-focused service. She is known for guiding critical motions, defending major claims, and safeguarding reputations with precision, perseverance, and persuasive advocacy. Her experience spans both district and appellate courts, where she draws on years as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Diana Hagen of the Utah Court of Appeals and the Honorable Bruce S. Jenkins of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah to anticipate judicial reasoning and craft compelling arguments.

Longstaff’s practice covers a broad range of complex litigation matters, from high-stakes motions to firm-defining disputes. She is recognized as a rising star in business litigation, having been named one of Utah Business Magazine’s 30 Women to Watch (2024) and selected for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Leadership Advancement Program for 2025–26. Beyond her courtroom work, Longstaff’s leadership and dedication are evident in her service as co-lead of the firm’s Lawyers of Color Affinity Group and as a board member of the Utah Minority Bar Association. She brings an inclusive, relationship-driven approach to every matter, fostering trust, understanding, and a multicultural perspective that strengthens client collaboration and results.
