Snell & Wilmer Attorney Alexandra Schumann Selected for U.S. Bank Law Division Spotlight on Talent Program

Dec 19, 2025

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorney Alexandra Schumann has been selected for the U.S. Bank Law Division Spotlight on Talent program.

Schumann has been selected as one of 15 associates to participate in the 2026 U.S. Bank Spotlight on Talent program. This year-long cohort experience focuses on building relationships and the professional development of rising talent at some of the bank’s select law firm partners.

The program will kick off at U.S. Bank headquarters in February with networking, learning opportunities, and goal-setting activities with bank attorneys and other executive leaders.

“As we prepare for the 2026 Spotlight on Talent program, we look forward to working with these 15 impressive associates from our partner firms,” said Jim Chosy, senior executive vice president and general counsel for U.S. Bank. “The time we spend together develops strong relationships and provides cohort members with unique exposure to our company, the Law Division, and the in-house practice. As a result, we are better positioned to navigate complex challenges together.”

Throughout the year, cohort members participate in leadership meetings, practice group roundtables, targeted workshops, and networking events. A highlight each year is the opportunity to work with a mentor and make an educational presentation to the U.S. Bank Law Division. Spotlight participants strengthen their knowledge of the financial services industry and U.S. Bank’s business while developing lasting relationships with Law Division professionals and their cohort peers.

“I am honored to be selected for the 2026 U.S. Bank Spotlight on Talent program and to represent Snell & Wilmer,” shared Schumann. “I look forward to learning directly from U.S. Bank leaders and building relationships with fellow professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to network and see how U.S. Bank, as an industry leader, achieves business objectives while balancing risk management and meeting the needs of its clients.”

Schumann’s practice is focused on commercial finance. She represents banks and other institutional lenders concerning various commercial and financial transactions, with particular interest in the insurance underwriting process. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Schumann worked as underwriting counsel for a national financial services company that serves the real estate and mortgage industries. She provided underwriting counsel and authorization to company personnel and customers related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies for local and national commercial markets. As in-house counsel, she regularly negotiated and collaborated with seller, buyer, and lender’s counsel on complex underwriting issues to help close large-scale transactions in Arizona.

Cohort participants have three to six years of experience and practice areas relevant to the legal needs of U.S. Bank.

The Spotlight on Talent program will conclude in Fall 2026.
