Snell & Wilmer Adds Private Client Services Partner Lisa Paine in Phoenix

Aug 12, 2026

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Lisa M. Paine has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as partner in the Private Client Services Practice Group.

Paine brings more than 15 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and multi-generational families on estate planning, complex wealth transfer, and business succession matters. She joins Snell & Wilmer from Jaburg & Wilk, P.C., where she most recently served as partner and head of the firm’s Estate Planning and Transactional practice group.

“Lisa’s deep experience in both estate planning and advance gifting strategies strengthens our ability to advise our clients on their most complex planning decisions,” said Steffi Hafen, co-leader of the firm’s Private Client Services practice group. “Her technical knowledge, leadership, and client-focused approach make her an exceptional addition to our growing team and valuable asset to our clients.”

Paine advises clients on sophisticated estate and wealth preservation strategies designed to achieve tax efficiency and facilitate the seamless transfer of assets across generations. She also counsels closely held businesses on succession planning and related transactional matters.

“Snell & Wilmer has built a highly regarded Private Client Services platform and collaborative culture that clients need when making critical business and wealth preservation decisions,” said Paine. “I look forward to working alongside my new colleagues to help individuals, families, and business owners protect what they have built and plan confidently for the future.”

Paine’s arrival to Snell & Wilmer follows the recent additions of Private Client attorneys Nancy Henderson, Alexander Winkle, Kristen Caverly, and Lisa Roper in San Diego earlier this year, further deepening the firm’s bench in this area.

An active leader in Arizona’s estate planning community, Paine previously served as co-chair and board member of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Section and previously served on the Arizona State Bar’s Elder Law, Mental Health, and Special Needs Planning Executive Committee. She is also a board member of Valley Estate Planners.

Paine earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her B.S. in management information systems from the University of Arizona.
