Snell & Wilmer Advises San Diego-Based Medical Device Company Octet Medical, Inc. As It Secures $10M in Series B Financing

SAN DIEGO – Snell & Wilmer advised Octet Medical, Inc. (Octet), private medical device firm as it secured $10M in Series B financing which follows Octet’s $6M Series A financing, bringing the total capital raised to $16.8M. The Series B investment is projected to enable Octet to advance the development of the Octet Medical Electrostatic Applicator (OMEA) for use in clinical trial programs.

“The OMEA electrostatic sprayer with interchangeable single use disposable product cartridges will reshape how clinicians apply topical therapeutics,” said Bud Brainerd, the CEO of Octet in a recent press release, “The Series B round will enable our team to advance the production of the existing OMEA prototypes into units that can be used in clinical trial programs.”
