Patrick Fowler's practice concentrates on complex litigation and trial work, primarily in defending companies facing product liability litigation (automotive, marine, consumer and industrial products, food safety) involving catastrophic injury or property damage, along with commercial, environmental and intellectual property disputes. He is experienced in counseling product manufacturers regarding state, federal and industry safety regulations, voluntary standards and recommended practices, as well as providing advice regarding on-product warnings, product information manuals, safety recalls and warranty language.
Pat's practice is nationwide, as he has taken numerous state and federal court cases to trial in Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. He also has experience with managing and coordinating discovery and litigation on a national basis for several large clients. Pat chairs the firm's Electronic Discovery Committee.
In addition to his law practice, Pat is actively involved in the Arizona legal community. He is the immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of Community Legal Services, Inc., the largest non-profit pro bono legal services organization in Arizona. In addition, since 1992 he has been on the Advisory Committee of the Volunteer Lawyers Program. Since 2006 Pat has served on the State Bar of Arizona’s Standing Appointments Committee.
