Claudia E. Stedman Elected As Board Member for the Arizona Society of Healthcare Attorneys (AzSHA)

PHOENIX – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Phoenix associate, Claudia E. Stedman, was elected to the Board for the Arizona Society of Healthcare Attorneys (AzSHA). 

Founded in 1992, AzSHA provides an opportunity for lawyers and regulatory compliance personnel in the healthcare field to meet and exchange information and ideas, to conduct legal seminars of interest to such attorneys and compliance personnel, and to provide a central agency for the exchange of legal and other regulatory information in the healthcare field.

In addition to AzSHA, Stedman is an active member of the American Health Law Association and serves on its Early Career Professionals Council. 

Stedman's legal practice is focused in healthcare compliance and regulatory matters, litigation, and transactions. She has experience in Medicare and Medicaid enrollment and compliance, Stark and Anti-Kickback compliance and risk-management, HIPAA compliance, and False Claims Act compliance. Stedman represents hospitals, individual providers, and pharmacies in malpractice matters as well as professional licensing board matters. In her regulatory practice, Stedman works with state and federal agencies to advise clients on how to respond to government investigations, conduct internal audits, structure internal compliance plans, and how to appropriately license healthcare entities to comply with state and federal law. Stedman also has regulatory and compliance experience in the fields of telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and direct primary care/concierge medicine.

Within Snell & Wilmer, Stedman is also a member of the firm’s Attorney Development Committee and serves as a mentor for the firm’s Fellow for Advancement and Resources (FAR) Program.
