Eileen Uy is a corporate and securities attorney in Snell & Wilmer’s Los Angeles office. She focuses her practice on ’34 Act compliance, corporate governance, corporate finance, and other general securities and corporate matters. As in-house counsel at various publicly traded companies, she was responsible for overseeing compliance with SEC rules and regulations, compliance with stock exchange continued listing standards, and corporate secretary functions, while also advising senior management and business partners on other corporate matters including SEC rulemaking trends, equity compensation, corporate policies, legal entity management, and capital markets transactions. She also has experience advising clients with the formation of corporate and other business entities, as well as with reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements including joint venture, operating, executive employment, and purchase agreements.
Having served previous in-house legal counsel roles at a variety of companies, Eileen understands intricate internal organizational relationships such as those between in-house legal teams and board of directors, business partners and senior management. She strives to utilize this experience to provide a unique and practical perspective to her corporate practice, serving as a trusted advisor to firm clients.
