Daniel Ackerman has extensive experience in intellectual property law with an emphasis on trademark and brand portfolio management. He counsels clients from startups to Fortune 100 companies in domestic and international brand development, management, policing and enforcement strategies.
Daniel’s practice focuses on supporting client businesses and brands across the spectrum of intellectual property areas through name clearance and screening, prosecution and enforcement, licensing, transactional, copyright, endorsement, advertising, marketing and promotion. He advises clients across multiple industries, including gaming, entertainment, medical and health care, consumer products, hospitality and technology. Daniel works with these clients to acquire, protect and leverage their intellectual property assets.
He also has extensive experience representing clients in dispute matters, whether before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, state and federal court systems, or disputes stemming from the Internet. Daniel collaborates with clients to understand their goals and support their brand throughout its lifecycle.
