Alex Thoreen’s practice is concentrated in intellectual property law.  Alex manages global patent portfolios for companies of all sizes, as well as for individual entrepreneurs.  Alex has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in various fields, including aerospace, optics, solar collectors, imaging devices, software, financial technologies, firearms, mechanical, and semiconductor devices. Additionally, Alex assists clients in developing and enforcing trademark rights. Prior to entering the legal profession, Alex spent each summer commercial fishing off the coast of Alaska.
