Pro Bono
Snell & Wilmer considers pro bono work an important professional responsibility and an excellent opportunity for attorneys to gain valuable experience, while giving back. We strongly encourage all attorneys and paralegals to commit at least 50 hours per year to some type of pro bono involvement.
Generally, pro bono legal services fall into three primary areas: Poverty Law, Civil Rights and Public Rights Law, and Representation of Charitable Organizations. Our attorneys regularly provide a wide variety of pro bono legal services, including assistance to indigents with respect to landlord/tenant situations, personal bankruptcies, disputes with current and former employers, immigration matters, requests for loan repayments by the federal government, and a host of other matters ranging across a wide variety of subject matters.
Because of our commitment to pro bono, the firm and individual attorneys are regularly recognized for their efforts with pro bono service awards.
