Professional Development

The goal of the Attorney Development Committee is to guide and provide appropriate resource to the Snell & Wilmer attorneys through all stages of their professional development.

Snell & Wilmer's Attorney Development Committee consists of partners and associates in each market who focus on attorney development issues, including mentoring, training, staff relations, lateral integration, work/life balance issues and relationship building.

Each associate is provided with a Coach (mentor). The Coach helps the associate navigate the first few years of practice at the firm and to transition to partnership. Our COACH program focuses on building relationships within the firm among all attorneys and giving new attorneys opportunities to explore their chosen practice from many perspectives.

Snell & Wilmer is proud of the training it provides to its attorneys. Our Litigation Training Boot Camp, Business Development Training and various firm wide Continuing Legal Education opportunities provide Snell & Wilmer attorneys the opportunity to learn and develop virtually any area of the law. In an effort to promote relationships and networking among our women attorneys and to grow their practices, Snell & Wilmer's Mary Leader Women in Leadership Program offers regular events in each of our markets. The program is named for Snell & Wilmer's first female partner and includes networking opportunities targeted at clients, speaker events for the entire firm and social events for attorneys.
