Wade Budge’s practice is concentrated on a broad range of land use and regulatory matters, including zoning, real estate and natural resource litigation, infrastructure development and construction law. He regularly represents developers in obtaining entitlements from local governments. Wade also represents property owners and lenders in disputes with regulators, including federal, state and local governments, before state and federal courts as well as administrative tribunals. He works on representing property owners in the negotiation, siting and acquisition of commercial, industrial and residential developments; obtaining water rights, utilities and rights of way; resolution of title defects and disputes; and advising on sales of properties ranging from single parcels to large, multi-phased and multi-use developments. Wade represents master developers in negotiations related to infrastructure development and land use. His practice also involves advising natural resource developers and public lands users on laws regulating exploration, development and transportation of minerals, including oil, gas and coal. Wade also regularly represents energy and resource developers in negotiations and disputes involving federal regulators.
