Lisa Coulter's practice involves employment law, with particular emphasis on litigating employment discrimination matters at the administrative, state and federal levels, as well as through mediation and arbitration. In addition, she actively counsels employers on day-to-day issues that impact the workplace. These issues include strategies for disciplining and/or terminating employees; responding to and conducting investigations of sexual harassment, discrimination and other related claims; social media, workplace issues under the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act; employee handbook and policy issues; preparation of employment and/or severance agreements; reductions in force issues; WARN compliance; employee training; drafting, enforcing or challenging restrictive covenants; responding to charges of discrimination or unfair labor practice charges; employment tort and contract claims; social networking issues; and other matters faced by human resource managers. Lisa speaks routinely to trade organizations and professional groups, and serves as a panel member on programs directed to employment issues.
