Joe Coleman's practice is concentrated in commercial finance and real estate. His experience includes financing a variety of commercial properties, such as shopping centers, hotels, office buildings, golf courses, hospitals, and other health care facilities. Joe has also represented lenders and developers in the financing of single and multifamily housing developments. In addition, he has assisted California's premier lenders and developers in structuring, documenting, and closing secured and unsecured lines of credit and multi-property revolving facilities. Joe has also represented lenders and borrowers in a host of workouts, foreclosures, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, and other related transactions. In the area of business formation, he has assisted a wide range of clients, including institutional investors and individuals, in forming partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies. Joe's experience extends to the field of public finance, where he has represented developers and the providers of credit enhancement in connection with the issuance of taxable and tax-exempt bonds which have been used to finance apartments, industrial facilities, hospitals, and major infrastructural improvements.
