Jory Shoell is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Commercial Finance group where his practice is concentrated in landlord/tenant law, common-interest communities, real estate finance, retail leasing and mixed-use resort developments.  He advises a wide range of clients in all aspects of their real estate developments, investments, transactions and disputes, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, financing, subdivisions, condominiums, boundary and easement issues, title insurance and due diligence.

  • Assist and advise client with regard to legal issues relating to the management and disposition of $1 billion portfolio of real estate.  Portfolio includes properties ranging from commercial office condominiums to mixed-use residential/retail properties.
  • Represent banking and franchisor clients on the drafting and negotiation of leases for retail and office sites.
  • Represent institutional owners and investors on drafting and negotiation of building leases.
  • Prepare and negotiate various development agreements and public-private partnership agreements with municipalities on behalf of developers.
  • Draft and prepare documentation relating to high-rise hotel condominium with a sell-out value of $500,000 plus.
