Jim Condo has a national and regional trial practice concentrated in complex commercial, professional and product liability litigation. He serves as co-chair of Snell & Wilmer's Commercial Litigation Practice Group and also holds the position of Primary Loss Prevention Partner with responsibility for counseling the firm's lawyers in professional liability matters.

- Defended an "Am Law 100" law firm against claims brought by the bankruptcy trustee of a business services outsourcing company
- Defended an "Am Law 100" law firm against claims arising from the failure of a California-based savings & loan
- Defended an "Am Law 200" law firm against claims brought by the bankruptcy trustee of a national restaurant chain
- Defended an "Am Law 200" law firm against claims by a corporate issuer of publicly traded stock arising from the rendering of certain legal opinions in connection with the stock
Products Liability & Personal Injury
- Defended a domestic vehicle manufacturer against a wrongful death claim arising from inadvertent vehicle movement
- Multiple representations of a domestic medium and heavy duty truck manufacturer against wrongful death and personal injury claims involving vehicle crashworthiness allegations, including post-collision fuel fed fires
- Defended a pesticide company in a personal injury claim alleging brain damage from exposure to the toxic by-products of combustion
- Defended a medical products device manufacturer against personal injury claims
Complex Commercial Litigation
- Represented a "Fortune 500" aerospace company in litigation over the commercialization of terrestrial and satellite technology
- Represented a hotel franchisee in arbitration with a national hotel chain regarding participation in the chain's loyalty rewards program
- Represented a national construction company in arbitration with a city arising from the construction of a public science facility
- Representation of lenders and related entities in connection with class action claims involving mortgage lending practices
- Representation of insurance company in several national class action certification hearings involving automobile collision damage adjusting practices
