Evans O'Brien is an associate in the Phoenix office of Snell & Wilmer. He focuses his practice on bankruptcy and related state and federal court litigation, such as lift stay, nondischargeability, preference, fraudulent conveyance, plan confirmation, receiverships, third-party guaranty and related appellate work. Prior to attending law school, Evans served in the United States Air Force as a navigator on the KC-135 Stratotanker and the EC-130H Compass Call.

- Assisted with representation of officer/minority shareholder in Dexter Distributing, contested Chapter 11 proceedings, resulting in confirmation of successful acquisition Chapter 11 Plan, which resulted in acquisition of operating company (2008-present)
- Assisted with representation of bank group in competing plan confirmation hearings in contested Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Arizona’s largest private homebuilder
- Represented liquidating trustee under Chapter 11 plan in pursuing fraudulent transfer actions against “net winners” in alleged Ponzi scheme
