Eva Kerr is an associate in Snell & Wilmer’s Phoenix office. Her practice focuses on all areas of employee benefits, including qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, executive compensation, health and welfare plans and fiduciary responsibility.
Eva works on a wide variety of issues including plan design, plan modification, plan disclosures, plan corrections, and new legislation and regulations. She assists with tax issues pertaining to benefit plans, including health plans, cafeteria plans, pension plans, profit-sharing plans, Section 401(k) plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation plans, and works on compliance with various federal laws, such as ERISA, COBRA, and the health care reform law (the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act).
Eva also assists on ERISA litigation matters including ERISA standard of review, benefit claims, breach of fiduciary duty and ERISA preemption.
