Cynthia L. Alexander

Cynthia Alexander’s practice in the Snell & Wilmer law firm is concentrated in commercial litigation, with emphasis on representation of financial institutions, and business entities and their corporate officers and directors. She has defended various institutions in disputes involving federal and state consumer protection statutes and various common law contract and tort, including lender liability claims. Cynthia handles matters that include bad faith lending, Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Home Ownership Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), Nevada's Foreclosure Mediation Program, and other assorted claims brought against mortgage lenders, institutions and servicers.  Further, Cynthia defends corporate officers and directors in liability, tort and fraud claims.

Cynthia also has experience in real estate litigation, handling title and escrow matters, real estate contract and easement disputes, and wrongful liens. In her construction law practice, Cynthia represents public and private owners, design professionals, general contractors and manufacturers on a variety of needs, including contract negotiation, risk avoidance and allocation, analysis and preparation of construction claims, as well as arbitration, mediation and litigation of construction disputes.
