Ben Mitsuda’s practice is concentrated in both transactional and litigation matters in the areas of environmental and construction law. His construction practice includes representing owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in construction defect litigation, prompt payment act litigation, lien and bond claims, professional design malpractice claims, contract preparation and negotiation, risk allocation, license assistance and representation of clients in administrative proceedings before the Registrar of Contractors. Ben’s environmental practice includes National Environmental Policy Act (“NEPA”) compliance and litigation, superfund liability, contribution actions, regulatory compliance and advising clients on environmental risk management and permit compliance. He also focuses on the development of green building and renewable energy.
