Angela Perez's practice is concentrated in business and finance, focusing on venture capital and private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements. Her experience includes representation of clients in various industries, including biotechnology and life sciences, medical research, health care, OTC drugs and pharmaceuticals, and product manufacturing. Angela's experience also includes representation of clients at various stages of the company life cycle, from start-up to liquidity.

Angela regularly drafts and advises clients with respect to a myriad of commercial agreements, including those that are generally applicable across different industries such as confidentiality, employment, severance, employee equity incentive awards, partnership, support services, management services and licensing; as well as those that apply to specific industries such as clinical trial, manufacturing, co-packing, maintenance and repair, federal sub-contracts, and management services.

Angela is the Chair of Snell & Wilmer's Bioscience & Health Care Industry Group.

  • Represented numerous pharmaceutical and drug development companies, as well as contract laboratories, in the negotiation of clinical trial agreements
  • Represented a research institute with respect to its participation in a nationwide project sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and National Institutes of Health and its negotiation and administration of material transfer agreements and related regulatory compliance
  • Represented a foreign entity with regard to its establishment of a commercial tissue banking facility in the United States
  • Represented a medical device component manufacturer in the negotiation of various manufacturing and tolling agreements
  • Represented a clinical laboratory in the negotiation of various laboratory services agreements
  • Coordinated with Arizona licensing authorities and oversaw health care licensing process for various hospitals and medical practices
